Simple version: Drafted helps you write and publish LinkedIn content in your voice. Here's exactly what we collect and why.
What we collect
Email address — when you sign up or join the waitlist.
LinkedIn account data (when you connect LinkedIn):
- Your name, profile photo, and headline — to personalise your dashboard
- Your LinkedIn access token — to publish posts on your behalf
- Your post history — to learn your writing voice and show your content pipeline
- Post analytics (impressions, engagement) — to show you what's working
How we use it
- To generate LinkedIn posts that sound like you
- To publish approved posts to your LinkedIn on your behalf
- To display your content performance in your dashboard
- To improve your voice profile over time
How we store it
All data is stored securely in encrypted databases. Your LinkedIn access token is encrypted at rest and never shared with any third party. We use Supabase with row-level security so your data is isolated from other users.
How long we keep it
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect LinkedIn or delete your account, your access token is immediately revoked and deleted. Your posts and voice profile are deleted within 30 days.
What we don't do
- Sell your data
- Share your LinkedIn data with third parties
- Post anything without your explicit approval
- Store your data after you delete your account
LinkedIn API compliance
Drafted uses the LinkedIn API in compliance with LinkedIn's API Terms of Service. We only request permissions necessary for core product functionality. Users can revoke LinkedIn access at any time from their LinkedIn account settings at linkedin.com/settings.
Analytics
This site uses PostHog to understand how people use the product — page views, button clicks, feature usage. No personal data is tied to analytics without consent.
